: The uniforms used by the students of the Bachelor study program in General Nursing at the University of Shkodra “Luigj Gurakuqi”, are of different shapes and colors, based on the possibilities they must provide them. This paper aims to identify how the use of uniforms used by students of the bachelor study program in General Nursing at the University of Shkodra \"Luigj Gurakuqi\" affects the development of professional practice. This study is cross-sectoral research used to understand to admit students and influence the use of uniforms in the realization of professional practices in the hospital and health center. A total of 140 students, 90 sophomores and 50 third-year students were interviewed in the Bachelor of Nursing program. Data collection was made using 10 questions with yes / no alternatives and 7 descriptive questions. Uniform is very important for the development and realization of professional practice. Despite the different opinions of students about the presentation of the uniform, the main thing is that it should be special, identifiable, and should have the logo of the educational institution. In order for the uniform of the Nursing students to have the right importance, as it turned out from this paper, the institutions that offer Nursing study programs must find ways to ensure it.
The work described a study on an effect of the partial charge of the receptor bio-interface of a nanowire field biosensor on the conductance of the nanowire, through finite element calculations using COMSOL Multiphysics. A biosensor consist of 5 layers the first layer is silicon nanowire that had radius 200 nm surrounded by a 230-nm oxide layer, which covered by a 270 nm thick functional layer and 3 partial charge were considered for this study. The entire device was immerged in an electrolyte and each of the layers was treated as a continuum medium characterized by the corresponding dielectric constant. First the poisson equation with boltzmann statistics was computed for distribution of the electrostatic potential in the narrower due to the partial charge. Second, conductance of the nanowire was computed through integrating the effect of the potential on the charge carriers within the nanowire.
Roadmap is a strategic plan that describes the steps an organization needs to take to achieve stated outcomes and goals in different layers and these layers are closely related to each other. Lower layer are more important in planning process. Acquisition layer is one of the most crucial layers in road mapping process. Today there are some international organizations that do policy making and depict technology roadmap in different areas. Manufacturing firms always had the limitation of utilizing these roadmaps. In this paper we examined electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles technology roadmap of international energy agency. Batteries as a hurdle in acquisition layer and electric cars of 2011 was ranked and prioritized from difference perspective, which can be used in technological development activities as guidance.
Electrical wheelchairs give handicapped people the possibility to regain mobility in everyday life. A lot of disable people do not have the capability to control a joystick on an electric wheelchair. Also, the obstacles represent another difficulty to such people. So, this article try to solve some of these problems through developing a proto type multi-modal system assist in controlling the movement of an electric wheelchair based on small vocabulary word recognition system and a set of sensors to detect and avoid obstacles. Also, to run the proposed system well, we adopted the use of: a microcontroller , a Digital Signal Processing (DSP) to address constraints control smoothly and a hardware speech recognition module for isolating word from a dependent speaker. In order to get proper security levels to the users , we provide the electric wheelchair with a set of sensors in order to avoid obstacles. The proposed prototype system was provided with a joystick control adapter, where the basic joystick of the wheelchair was able to take the various commands directly from computers. Finally, we run various experiments to examine and check the speech recognition by Arabic, and obtained a successful recognition rate 93.0% of the verification command.

The present energy situation and the concerns about global warming has stirred active research interest in non-petroleum, carbon free compounds and non-polluting fuels, particularly for transportation, power generation and agricultural sectors. Environmental concerns and limited amount of petroleum fuels have caused interests in the development of alternative fuels for internal combustion (IC) engines. Among various alternatives hydrogen is a long-term renewable and least polluting fuel. Its clean burning capability helps to meet the stern emission norms. Under the given circumstances, dual-fuel operation with hydrogen within the framework of contemporary existing engine structure is a good alternative. In the present experimental investigation hydrogen was injected through intake manifold by using an injector. A Timed Manifold Injection (TMI) system was developed to vary the injection timing and durations. The optimized timing for injection of hydrogen was 100 CA after top dead centre (ATDC). The study attempts to explain the application of the fuzzy logic based Taguchi analysis to optimize the performance and emission parameters i.e BTHE, NOx and Soot for the different hydrogen injection strategies.
Handover in mobile node (MN) with multiple access technologies like UMTS-WLAN, UMTS-WiMAX has been widely studied and different approaches are obtained today. MN’s are required to provide QoS with optimum energy efficiency for all types services. The main focus of this paper is on issues of quality of service in heterogeneous network environment with energy efficiency. Improved and modified handover scenario approaches are presented in this paper. The received signal strength is used as key factor for selection of node state. NS-2 simulator is used to compare the output results. It is observed that results obtained from proposed approach are better and improved.
A new fuzzy based thresholding method is\nintroduced in this paper. Although there are numerous\nthresholding algorithms, there ain‘t a specific algorithm for\ncervical cytology images. Many existing algorithms segment\neither blob or mosaic images. There ain‘t any algorithm that\ncan do both. In this paper we have addressed these problems\nand hence designed a unique thresholding purpose.
This paper attempts to study the impact of the role of management in the delivery of the counselling services in universities in Melaka state, Malaysia. This research is done in 4 universities in Melaka with a total population of 564 students. \nThe results show that management policy (beta 0.218 and p-value <0.05) and counsellor (beta 0.443 and p-value < 0.05) are significant predictors of the effectiveness of counselling services in tertiary educational institutions in Melaka. The counsellor is part and parcel of management. Authors have examined that the support of the management for the professional school counsellor’s role within the components of a comprehensive guidance and counselling program is vital (Azrina, 1999; Ako, 2001; Sidek, 2004; Badrol, 2008; Karimi, 2011), for the school counsellor’s responsibilities in relation to other school personnel and effective strategies used by school counsellors to work with various student issues and problems (Amy, 2008) has had a positive impact of the counselling services for the students. Therefore, the management of the university must take interest in the counselling services as part of the total management of the university and the counselling services must be an integral part of the administration of the student’s affairs department (Borders, 1992; Azrina, 1999; Holcomb, 2002; Ramsey, 2007; Badrol, 2008; Karimi,2011). Act 580 , the Counselling Act is a rule by the government for Public Universities to have counsellors.
The kinetics of oxidation of reducing sugars viz. D-glucose and D-fructose by alkaline KMnO4 in aqueous, cationic micro-emulsion (prepared by weight percent of cetyl trimethyl ammonium\nbromide, n-butanol, n-hexane and water) and anionic micro-emulsion (prepared by weight percent of decane, aerosol-OT and water) medium have been investigated. The order of reaction in oxidant was always found to be unity while that in substrate and alkali was decreased from unity to zero at higher [Substrate] and [Alakli], respectively. On decreasing [H2O]/ [Surfactant] ratio (increasing surfactant content) in micro-emulsion, the rates of oxidation (or kobs) were\ndecreased. The inhibition effect on the rate of oxidation was greater in cationic micro-emulsion. A mechanism consistent with kinetic data is proposed.
