Leakages of current in electrical power circuits are prevented by insulating materials. This work investigates the possibility of using rice husk filled polypropylene composites as electrical insulators. The objective of this study is to evaluate the dc conductivity of rice husk filled polypropylene composites with and without cenosphere. The conductivity at room temperature was found to decreases from 2.64e-13 to 9.371e-14 S cm-1 with the addition of cenosphere. Dense packing of the material, collapse of pores and decreases in air gap between the rice husk and cenosphere particles could be the factors for the increase in conductivity. In case of dc conductivity of filled polymers interface interaction is the most important parameter which influences the dc conductivity of matrix and will depend on type of fillers, concentration of filler and the chemical bonding between filler and matrix. Rice Husk reinforced polypropylene composites having 20% rice husk with and without cenosphere is developed. Treated and untreated cenosphere with different concentration were loaded with chopped rice husk in polypropylene. The dc conductivity of rice husk-filled Polypropylene was studied by adding cenosphere (2, 4, 6, 8 phr) respectively in concentrations. The loading of the polypropylene with the rice husk and cenosphere decreases the dc conductivity (σdc).

A controllable batch service queueing system with removable servers, where the server-1 allows accessibility to the batches of ongoing service, is considered in this article. The arrival process is assumed to be Poisson and the service rule is as follows: If there is no customers in the system then both servers go for vacation. when the system size is less than or equal to b1 then server-1 is busy and he serves them altogether in a batch, incorporating accessibility to the batches while the service is on progress and server-2 go for vacation and if the system size is more than b1 then both the servers are busy, where server-1 serves b1 customers in a batch and from the remaining server-2 serves a maximum of (b2-b1), b2 > b1 customers in a batch according to FCFS rule without accessibility to the batches. The service time distributions are assumed to be exponential. Transient and steady state probabilities of the model is considered and we obtained expressions for the expected queue length and the busy period of the system.

The objective of this study is to determine the effects of kapalbhati pranayama on respiratory parameters. The study was conducted on 50 university level girls of Department of Physical Education (T), Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar between the age group of 21-26 years (Mean ± SD: age 22.04 ± 1.63 yrs, height 5.41 ± 0.14 ft, body mass 60.88 ± 3.04 k). The subjects from experimental group were subjected to a 4-week training of kapalbhati pranayama. Student t test for paired samples was utilized to compare the means of the pre-test and the post-test. Significant differences were found in Tidal Volume (VT), Expiratory Reserve Volume (ERV), Vital Capacity (VC) and Inspiratory Capacity (IC) in experimental group and insignificant between-group differences were noted in Inspiratory Reserve Volume (IRV) of university level girls. The result further indicates that no significant changes over that 4- week period were noted in the control group.

We investigated a new class of contra β cap generalized -continuous functions, almost contra β cap generalized - continuous functions in topological spaces and also introduces a new spaces like β cap generalized -Hausdorff spaces, β cap generalized -ultra Hausdorff spaces and β cap generalized -locally indiscrete spaces.

This study investigates the main and interactive effects of 4 service of contact personnel attributes, namely physical attractiveness, displayed emotion, helpfulness or appropriateness of dress service of contact personnel. We conduct a research to test the effects of appropriateness of dress Attributes on customer satisfaction sport store services. Results show physical attractiveness vs. physical unattractiveness did not result in customer satisfaction. But other employee\' attributes (displayed emotion, helpfulness or appropriateness of dress) lead to customer satisfaction and helpfulness has the strongest impact. In addition, service of contact personnel displayed positive emotion interacts with helpfulness to influence on customer satisfaction. The implications of the findings are discussed and future research directions proposed.

A new runtime was introduced with Android 4.4 i.e. KitKat, which should eventually replace the Dalvik runtime. ART (Android Runtime) and Dalvik as the runtime executes the Dalvik Executable format and Dex bytecode specification. In other words, when an app is run on android, it goes through a runtime. Previously, Android\'s runtime was Dalvik. While it performed well, it was still a bottleneck as it only ran the code at the moment it needed to, with a JIT compiler (Just-in-time). AOT (Ahead-of-time) compilation paradigm is followed by ART to process application instructions before they are even required. In the next section, the background of compilation on various architectures is described. In next section, ART is introduced with its new features. In next section, ART has been tested against traditional Dalvik runtime. Then before the conclusion, ARM big.LITTLE architecture is described with some results.

Glasses in the 10TeO2-15BaO-(75-x) B2O3-xNiO and 10TeO2- 15BaO-(75-x) B2O3-xWO3 (where x = 0 to 1.0 in steps of 0.2 mol %) systems were primed by using conventional melt-quenching technique. Glass formation range of the system and thermal, physical, and structural features of the quaternary glasses were explored by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Thermo Gravimetric Analysis (TGA), Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA), Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and FTIR analysis according to the different molar compositions. The amorphous nature of the samples was established using X-ray diffractometry (XRD).Thermal behavior of the glasses were deliberated in terms of the glass transition (Tg), crystallization peak (Tp), melting temperatures (Tm), and the glass stability against crystallization (∆T). The electron paramagnetic resonance spectra has been traced in X-band (ν 9.78 GHz) at room temperature. The EPR study of prepared glass samples show the resonance signals at g 2.0-2.5 and g 1.97 for Ni2+ and W6+ metal ions respectively were found. EPR data suggests the bonding between transition metal ions and ligands as a covalent / ionic in nature. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectra of quaternary glass systems has been precise in the spectral range 400-4000 cm-1 at room temperature in order to understand the characteristic frequencies of the chemical bonds and bonding mechanisms, which are liable to the structural and spectral changes.

The security of information systems is the most important principle that can also be said that the most difficult, because security must be maintained throughout the system. At the beginning of this article we are going to introduce basic principles of security. The securities of distributed systems are divided into two parts: A portion of the communication between users and processes is concerned with examining issues such as authentication, message integrity and encryption will be discussed. In the next section, we will examine the guaranteed access permissions to resources in distributed systems. In addition to traditional access solutions, access control in mobile codes will be examined.

The objective of any water supply scheme is to provide adequate and safe drinking water to the customers. Service performance offered by the service provider of such scheme depends on the customers’ needs, their expectations and preferences. Satisfying the customers is challenging and complex phenomena. The present study focuses on the customers’ satisfaction and evaluation of the gaps between the perceived values and the expectations. A case study of two towns in Tanzania, namely Songea and Mbeya is focussed for evaluating the customers’ satisfaction in the urban water supply sector. A Customers’ Satisfaction Index (CSI) which gives the overall score of the satisfaction level has been suggested. The methodology involves the evaluation of a questionnaire from customers, managers and others professionals using modified SERVQUAL model. It has been noticed that the CSI for these towns was 56.4% and 58.4%. From the Tanzanian perspective, it can be considered as ‘satisfactory’ but can be improved by adopting various structural and non-structural measures like the creation of storages and customers awareness and participation in decision making, etc.
